I've tutored students in kindergarten up to the college level in subjects ranging from reading and writing to math. My focus is on teaching reading and math to K-12 students and helping them do well on standardized tests. I can cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus as well as accounting, public speaking, business, and college essays. In addition, I have professional experience in the business world; working in a Fortune 200 company's sales department as a Business Planning Manager, I have used Excel in my work and can tutor in that, and also teach organization/study skills and public speaking.I obtained a Business Management degree, with an emphasis in Marketing, at Brigham Young University - Provo. An academic scholarship got me through the entire four-year course of my studies. I love being in school and love learning too, but helping others cultivate such a feeling is something I am just as passionate about. Currently, I live in Peoria, Arizona and have many interests and hobbies outside of business and academia. I play the piano and just finished my first novel, which will soon be published. Also, I enjoy hiking, road biking, swimming, and spending my time with friends and family.
