Experience
I graduated with my degree in Microbiology from the University of Arizona six years ago. While going to school at the university I tutored students in a course on plant and animal genetics. After graduating, I went on to work several jobs which included working in microbiology and being a math and science teacher at the high school level.When I tutor, I prefer to work with the student's course material to better guide them and assist in higher understanding of the topics being taught to them. Before a study session with a student, I like to have us both prepare so the session can be as productive as possible and so we can get through more information quicker. Along with having a degree in Microbiology, I also minored in Chemistry so I am able to tutor topics in that area as well. Along with science material, I am also well versed in math and can tutor in subjects such as Algebra and Geometry.In my spare time, I enjoy being outside and engaging in activities such as disc golfing and hiking. I also have a bit of fun competing in a weekly trivia league.
