I'm attending Midwest University for my doctorate in pharmacy. Between private tutoring, classroom teaching, and mentoring in after school programs, I've amassed five years as a tutor. My favorite subjects to tutor are science and math, and I'm looking forward to helping students with algebra one and two, calculus, elementary and middle school math, geometry, pre-calculus, statistics, trigonometry, biology, and chemistry. I've also help students prepare for the math section of the SAT, and I can help with other test preparation as well. I want students to better understand math and science topics, and I work to help them understand why these topics are important. This is a great way to help students stay engaged and motivated to learn more. I show students what they need to do to be successful in these subjects, I help them become confident in their abilities to learn these topics so that they can achieve their goals. I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to share what I know to help others, which allows me to pay it forward.
