My last 20 years have been spent educating students. I taught various science and math-related courses, and am currently certified to teach in Arizona. I offer classes on general science, mathematics, and biology. I attended the University of Phoenix, where I graduated with honors and earned a degree in curriculum and technology. I also earned a degree from Black Hills State for mathematics. I minored in education for middle school. Additionally, I attended George Washington University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science for Health Science.I not only teach, but also offer tutoring to students who require extra help. I typically tutor in the subjects I have earned degrees. I work with high school students on basic math, and teach more difficult subjects at the college level, such as trigonometry. I especially enjoy teaching the difficult courses because it is a challenge for me as well.My approach to tutoring is best described as individualized. I determine what the students understand and what they need help with, and monitor how much they are participating. I often ask questions to see if they can problem solve on their own and determine how one problem relates to another.I, too, have hobbies, including boating and swimming. I also ride my motorcycle as often as I can.
