Experience
I have a B.S. in biology, which I received in 2017 and an M.s. in biology, which I received in 2019. I tutored for four years at Bellarmine University in biology and chemistry. I loved every second of being a tutor, and seeing the lightbulb moment is the most rewarding feeling to me. I have worked hard to figure out how each of my students learns and what the best way to teach them material is. I also enjoy mentoring students and helping them to figure out what the best classes for them to take are, as well as possible careers for them. Biology is my absolute favorite subject and I love teaching any biology class I can. In spring of 2020 I was given the opportunity to lecture a class at Auburn University, in which I taught non-majors basic biology. I tutored chemistry for four years, and absolutely loved every second of it. As for anatomy, in particular, I had the opportunity of taking a gross anatomy class and working with human cadavers, which helped me to understand the material much more clearly.
