I am a tutor with experience who loves to teach mathematics and science. I'm available to tutor algebra, elementary math, middle school math, pre-calculus, anatomy, biology, chemistry, writing, psychology, nutrition, and a variety of other subjects. I can help students with graduate test prep and their studying and organizational skills. I first began pursuing my love for science and math at the University of California, where I received my degree in Biopsychology. After completing my undergraduate studies I went on to Purdue University and earned my master's in Biochemical Nutrition. I will be starting medical school soon and I plan on becoming a physician. I've been working with students since I was in high school, when I tutored math and chemistry. I continued helping students when I was a Teaching Assistant both as an undergraduate student in honors chemistry, and a graduate student in nutrition communication. As a TA I was graded by the students on my performance in the classroom, and on average I scored a 4.4/5. As a tutor I engage my students, learn their personal strengths and weaknesses, and then use them to develop an effective teaching strategy. When I'm not helping students I enjoy reading books, going for runs, hiking, and playing video games.
