Education

Arkansas State University student, majoring in Philosophy and Creative Media. Gateway College student, studying English and Physics. GPA: 4.0

Experience

I have tutored peers throughout grade school and college. I am always reliable, I base my lessons off of individual student abilities and I am very patient. Learning a new subject should be fun, not torturous. I prefer to have students experience a hands on lesson and to really get involved. They should no that the subject isn't hard, but that it can be easy and fun. I have taken several AP courses, and have passed all of them. I took the SAT with a total of 1200. I have also taken COMPASS test practices, so I understand how they work as well. I have had many subjects, and I find a way to make them fascinating, no matter how difficult they may be. Learning is not a chore, it's a hobby.

Hobbies

I am very adventurous all around, but I take my responsibilities seriously. I have divulged myself in nature, worked with several animal centers, travelled to historic places, taught myself the basics of robotics all of the sake of a story, and I am a very creative person. I am a self-published author under a pen name, and have found much success in doing so. I am constantly learning new things as the world around me changes. I am kind, and passionate. Believe it or not, I know how it feels to struggle. But with a bit of positivity and courage, no one has to feel that way! I have been a part of a research facility whose main focus was Marine Biology. I worked along side researchers to help with a coral reef restoration program, and also studied dolphin behaviors and physiology. I was once the president of my college's honor society after much hard work and dedication. I have lived all over the United States, and have learned much of its personal history while on my journey. Through my experiences, I have learned to become engaging, just as I would when I am writing for my readers. I have organized several events for children regarding the environment, and teaching them how to be more energy efficient in their every day lives! I have noticed that people learn better when you make something interesting, fun and hands on. No matter the age, that it my philosophy.
